@hidingmyface: Things that could be percieved as a catch:
*has more fire than a diamond- which means it shoots more rainbow colors
*body color can be very yellow depending on size and cut
*the way the stone appears changes drastically depending on the lighting
*most retailers are online only
If you do a thread search you will find that the “catch” is highly controversial- and also highly subjective depending on the person.
I love mine now, but wasn’t prepared for it to look the way it did when I received it.
See if you can buy a loose stone and return it if you don’t like it! 🙂
I just got mine today 3.5ct Center round brilliant perfect
Such lovely rings! I just thought I would post my moissy for a different color persepective. I have a 1.1 ct blue-green Charles and Colvard Forever Brilliant set in a 18k white gold ring from our local jewler. I love my ring! But, like most posts, the color can be a chameleon! I fell in love with the bright teal color, but flourescent lighting turns it a bright emerald green. Most people think it’s an emerald since my office building and most businesses use flourescent lighting. But I liked the moissy because it was inexpensive, had beautiful color, the hardness rating is a 10 and it doesn’t cloud. My SO and I plan on replacing it with a blue diamond in a few years if the right opportunity comes along, but for now I couldn’t be happier!
7.5 mm amora on 7.5 finger
@MsPiggy: The ring I am getting is pretty different from yours, but every time I see one of your pics in a thread I fall in love with it! Seriously! It is the only ring I’ve seen on here that isn’t my style but I am still in love with. Just thought you should know! Keep posting new pics!
1ct FB moissy on a 4.25 finger 🙂
