I look at my ring today and discovered that it has 8 prongs that is holding it in place instead of 4, so you really have to just try it on to see what you like. I told my husband I was fine with four but I see he went with the suggestions of the jewerly and got the 8 prongs instead. I hope this helps, but I am sure that what you decide its going to be beautiful.

This is the thread that I drooled over when making my moissy decision. I absolutely love my ring. I have a 7.5 mm FB halo twist shank.

@crookedframe:  Hello! I think your stone is beautiful! I was considering moissanite and when I was, we were going to go with the same setting you have! I was just curious, yours seems different then the stock photo. It looks like the stock photo shows a donut, very similar to the tiffany classic knife edge setting. Did you request a modification, or did it just come that way??

@BrieBrieGorGor:  thank you! I don’t know what you mean by donut, but I did ask for the knife edge to be smoothed down a little so it wasn’t so sharp and defined.

@crookedframe:  Oh ok! Hmm I used to have the stock photo of the ring, because that’s the one I was dead set on getting… If you look up your ring on moissaniteco.com there is a little round metal piece that connects the band to the head. Did you ask them to have your stone “low set”? I’m just wondering, because if I ever do get that ring I want to make sure it has the donut. Maybe it’s just not obvious because of the angle of your pics?? Here’s a link to the stock photo, does it look like that?

ENG225 from moissaniteco.com – Double Halo, Forever Brilliant 1.4 ct Cushion Center stone, 0.77 ct moissies in halos and as side stones (split shank) for 2.17 tcw set in palladium *drool*

I’m including the stock photo with my picture so you can see how beautiful the ring is in comparison to the MoCo website photos.

Also, this ring with the FB upgrade and the palladium upgrade is $1,920 on MoCo, but we got it off the sale site with all the upgrades for a hair over $1500 with shipping and NO tax 🙂

So incredibly happy we found out about moissanite through a coworker of mine!  Now we have money to pay for our own honeymoon and splurge a little more on the wedding!
