@fussymunchkin:  I actually don’t know! He won’t even give me the name of the artist he bought it from haha. The lighting in that picture is great, though. It looks just the tiniest bit yellow when not in direct sunlight. 🙂

Hi Bees! This is my first post. I have been stalking lurking around on the moissanite threads for a few months now. I just wanted to give a quick review. After months (seriously, like all of 2013, it seems), of research on diamond alternatives and moissanite, I decided that this was the stone I very much HAD TO HAVE. I was completely confident in my choice, and sent Fiance a wish list of my favorite rings from Moissaniteco. I didn’t *seriously* start to worry until the ring had been ordered, and there was no turning back. I worried that it would be yellow, that the band would somehow be messed up, that it wouldn’t fit, that it wouldn’t sparkle as much as I was anticipating. Fiance ended up picking the sol011 engagement ring, with a 6.5mm/1ct Round Brilliant stone, and let me tell you ladies- IT. IS. PERFECT. Seriously, I am SO, SO HAPPY! It’s every bit as sparkly as I wanted it to be, it feels secure, it’s so well made. We also decided to get an unenhanced moissy, mainly because I was getting a Round Brilliant stone, that was not bigger than a carat. It is quite white. It does have *some* warmth to it in certain lighting, and I can see how it picks up on it’s surroundings, but I really think it just compliments the stone even more. Also, it is SO CLEAR. Now, most importantly, here’s some ring porn:

@fussymunchkin:  Thank you!! I’m so happy with my decision, and it was specifically this thread that solidified it.

Hey everyone!! Just got engaged about 2 weeks ago and soooooo excited!! My Fiance got my favorite moissyco ring for me, the eng 728 with a little customization so that the side stones go down 3/4 of the band instead of just halfway.  It’s so beautiful!! 🙂 OK, I’ll stop and just show y’all tons of pics! 😀

wonderful rings ladies! Im conflicted right now, I know we will be purchasing a moisy. I personally love ovals but as we are all aware they are no longer available in amora so it would have to be a Forever Brilliant. Does anyone have anything to say about the FB Ovals? also I would love a rose or yello gold setting has anyone seen colored gold enhancing the warmth or colors of the stone? Thank you

Here’s my Solitaire! It’s size 5.25, and I *think* it’s 6mm – it’s bigger than it thought it would look if it is! I promise you this!  Unenhanced.

I’ve been creeping these boards for a while, and they confirmed my decision to go for  moissanite over another stone, so I figured I would pay it forward.

i chose a moissanite because there are so many things in life that I would like to save up for, and a ring isn’t necessarily one of them… Also, the whole diamond industry is ridiculous – don’t get me started!

my ring is Sol251 (Tiffany setting) on the moissanite co. website. Looks a lot like another ring posted here! I spent a couple of days going through the rings and then I sent a list to my Boyfriend or Best Friend and had him surprise me by choosing from my list (so he could feel like he had some choice!). All of my choices were rings that were low set –  I’m a kindergarten teacher (you can tell from the unsightly marker on my fingers!!), and I didn’t want my ring getting caught/in the way.

I chose the solitaire for the following reasons (1) I’m a simple gal. wearing jeweRy isn’t much of my thing, so I needed a ring that would suit my everyday life, (2) from what I read, moissanite co has a bit of a rep for having smaller stones on bands and halos fallout. They fix them for you 100%, but I wasn’t having the inconvenience of that! (3) I just like solitaires best.

am I happy? Absolutely! The ring is beautiful And very comfy to have on all of the time. In terms of clarity, it looks clear white 95%of the time. The only time I notice a slight tinge of green is when I’m driving in the car and it’s cloudy (for some reason, that combination of clouds and car Does this!). Even then, it’s still beautiful. It looks looks amazing in the evenings – gorgeous sparkle (but not too gaudy, which I was worried about). Because it’s clear and bright most of the time, I dont think it’s worth the investment for the Amora for 1ct or less, unless you’re picky or have a couple extra dollars to spend.

Like I said, it looks mucj like the ring above – but it never hurts to see it on another hand! (I liked the full hand pics best when I was searching!)

sorry for for the bad pics. Used a mobile device and it’s cloudy out.

@mirime_tinuviel:  It’s the sol011 from MoissyCo with a 6.5mm center stone. I still love it just as much as the day I got it!!
