Ok so I am going to try this again!  My beautiful moissanite ring. Here are the specs:

Designer: Danhov sidestones real diamonds Abbraccio Swirl

Center: Charles&Colvard Forever Brilliant Enhanced Round Brilliant Stone 1.25 ct equivalent

Looking at all the pics help us decide to go with this alternative and so I wanted to contribute another ring for people to look at during their research!

Mine is a 1ct oval Moissantie center with a diamond double halo and split pave band. 1.37 total, including the wedding band.  Size 7 for scale πŸ™‚ I would say the color rating is probably a K, it only looks pale yellow in natural sun light, almost to the point where it would be sold as a fancy yellow… The color doesn’t bother me, I think it make the ring look a little more interesting.  If you are expecting a pure white go with the enhanced moissanite.  I ordered thought MoissanitCo after reading a lot of good reviews here, I ordered Sunday morning with the free 2-3 day FedEx Express option, it shipped Tuesday, and it arrived Friday.  Sorry the pictures are so huge and wavy, dang camera phone πŸ™‚

I am late to this party, but I used these boards a lot when researching moissanite. I just upgraded my ring for our 10-year anniversary and went with moissanite. I am glad I did. The yellow bothers me a little but it is really only yellow in natural sunlight. This of course makes me crazy in the car, but otherwise  it is beautiful.

I went with a jeweler who ordered my moissy and I got the ring there too. The ring is a Gabriel & Co setting. It’s a vintage inspired, cushion halo with a 6.5mm center stone. I was surprised when I picked this style. I really needed to go to a jeweler so I could see them on my hand. This isn’t what I was initially after, but I am happy with the stone. Sorry for the blurry cell phone photos. I need some better shots!

I’ll play too πŸ™‚

This a 7.5mm (1.5ct dia eq.) unenhanced moissanite on size 5.5 finger. The moissanite is a few years old, I bougt it from one of BDT members to replace my custom Etsy e-ring that I lost.I wish the pictures can show the true beauty of it. Here is artificial light:
This one is in the sunlight, showing a rainbow on the right corner πŸ™‚
I love how clear the stone is and how much is sparkles. It outperforms my diamond earrings by a long shot, they just look flat, boring and white to me now. I’ve asked for moissanite studs instead πŸ™‚

Pardon my nails that need some TLC πŸ™‚

My Moissanite ring:

Selling my never-worn Moissanite ring!

I had bought this ring because I absolutely loved how different it was but my fiance went out and bought the canary yellow Moissanite ring soon after, so I am wearing that one instead.

Hopefully I can find someone who will enjoy and love this ring as much as I did [even though I’ve never had the chance to truly wear it]. <3
