    OEC x 100. I have both, and there really is no competition.

    i’m not sure if you already ordered you’re ring but I was trying to decide which one i wanted also and were scouring the pics on here and btd website but I deciced i needed to see them both in person, i order a rb unenhanced since they are out of the amora in that cut, and a amora oec, i took the pics next to my current wedding ring, outside in overcast weather, neither of them showed much color in this lighting, the unenhanced rb seems to change color slightly but the oec is more consistanly white, it looks buttery sometimes from a side veiw but if you flip both the stones upside down the unenhanced is much more yellow that the amora. I went with the amora just because i love the cut and itll match the style and stones of my soon to be new ring, cant wait! top 2 pics right is oec left rb, bottom pic rb right oec left, oh and they are 6.5mm

    I think both are absolutely beautiful. I have a brilliant cut, and I’ve never seen the OEC in person, but they look gorgeous from the pictures! I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

    @mepayne:  +1 (I promise I’m not stalking you!)

    i love my Round Brilliant, but the pics of OECs are beautiful too! I’m kind of glad I didn’t know you could get OEC in moissy when we were shopping bc I had a hard enough time choosing a carat size and a setting!

    Hmm I don’t know about this personally, but I just read this on another thread:

    Kant-  OECs are available for the Amora enhancement (different than being an actual Amora stone…confusing, right?), though I don’t know much about it because I was never really interested in it. There’s more info on the Betterthandiamond forums – http://betterthandiamond.com/discussion/

    I wanted an Amora stone, so if this is true, it would’ve affected my decision.

    i think my wording was confusing the oec had the amora enhancenent, from what i read the amora gem stone wont be available till 2015, when the the charles and colvard patent expires there is lots of details about that on the btd website

    @Kat:  I always think of your ring when someone mentions OEC moissy. It’s so beautiful! I was going to direct OP to your post, but you were already here 😀
