We ordered my moissanite ring off etsy from a seller called DupuyJewelry. The ring came with a certificate of authenticity and a warranty registration code. It was a very positive experience and the ring was made/shipped/arrived faster than expected (about 2.5 weeks from ordering to delivery).

Honestly I had never seen moissanite in person before ordering and I was really nervous that I wouldn’t like it, but it (and the ring itself) is so much more beautiful than I expected! The warmness of the stone doesn’t bother me at all. It’s a classic moissanite 8×6 oval (and from what I read ovals can appear more yellow than other cuts?) and though I do notice a slight yellow tint to it I actually like it and really it’s only in certain lightingyou can see the yellow-ness more in this one

the seller you’re looking at looks like they have a lot of good reviews, just make sure you read the return policy before buying in case you don’t like it!! Good luck!

chelseaadarlingg :  I see what you mean. The one we got was about $50 higher than the one you’re looking at, but yours also has a diamond halo in addition to diamonds on the band so I don’t know how much of a price difference that would make (not jewelry savvy AT ALL) but I guess I would that would make it more expensive. Maybe it’s just a really good deal 🙂 You could always order it and get it appraised by a jeweler in town and if it’s not what the seller advertised it to be, return it?

I’ve bought a ton of stuff off Etsy – it’s always been a good experience so far. About the only problem I’ve had is 2x now I’ve had to wait longer than expected to have pieces made. Currently somewhere in the US there is a package speeding towards me in a FedEx truck. I ordered a ring back June 27 – and it’s only now on the way. Granted, it was made for me – so it’s not something that was ready-made. I would just warn you to read reviews, check return policy, and be sure to give extra time (don’t order 2 weeks before your wedding). Then everything sound be fine.

I had never seen Moissanite in person before I ordered from the Internet – and I don’t like any yellow in my diamonds. But I love my Moissanite eternity ring! I see no yellow at all – and mine is Moissanite Classic, where the colour is supposed to be down at IJK level. It sparkles like crazy! I have a 1ct, F color, ideal cut diamond, and the eternity band out-sparkles the diamond like crazy! If you like sparkles, go with Moissanite – you will not be disappointed!!

I have lots of jewelry from Etsy, including my sapphire engagement ring my fiance purchased, and this one below that I bought. It’s also a Forever Classic; the ring arrived with a certificate from C&C. It does occasionally show warmth, which I like — I got the yellow gold for this ring specifically because of that. However, the slight green tint in the picture is actually a reflection of my mint-colored phone case 🙂 The ring is very pretty and I love it!

I’m following this. I’ve seen some that look VERY nice and are very affordable, but sometimes I wonder if these inexpensive overseas companies are legit.

chelseaadarlingg :  I hear ya! Like this shop has amazing prices, they appear to have good reviews, the rings look nice, but still it’s like wellll….IDK if I want to risk it! Not that I’m too concerned about having a PERFECT stone. A little warmth or what-have-you is fine by me but I don’t wanna get jipped. Hopefully more people chime in!

chelseaadarlingg :  I was too. I think maybe they produce them there? I’ve bought loose moissy’s from India before with various names.
