So I’m curious if anyone has purchased an engagement ring (especially moissanite) from an Etsy shop. There are some really, really beautiful, unique settings that I see on Etsy and can’t find anything comparable anywhere else, but I’m iffy about purchasing from there because I don’t wanna get a CZ rather than what I’m paying for. Anyone have experience with this? Or did you just have a certain reliable jewelry store/website make a custom setting for you? If you did, was the process simple and were you satisfied with the end product?
ALSO: Anyone ever buy from Fire and Brilliance? Experiences?

Got mine from Vidar Jewellery! The process was very simple and the communication was fantastic!! My ring is gorgeous and even came with a certificate of appraisal. I emailed with the owner a lot for a couple of months before I committed. They also do instalments with the last one being a month after they ship the ring which is good in case you’re not satisfied but I have no problems with mine

Fiance ordered my Moissanite from RosadosBox on Etsy, and it has since appraised for a number higher than what he paid (he would not tell me details). We could not be any more thrilled with our experience of getting an engagement ring from Etsy and specifically dealing with Rosados Box. We are usually difficult to please, and we were blown away by my ring. It’s absolutely not for everyone (Etsy or Moissanite!), but it was our perfect match.
