It’s not exactly the same by any means, but I have a pave halo and shanks, and I love love love love my ring!  I don’t think it takes away from the center stone too much, the whole thing just sparkles like crazy!!!

holy humongous picture. I am sorry, I don’t know how to make it smaller.  This is a photo with my wedding bands (which I don’t get to wear quite yet..just trying them on ;] )  I got 2 to be symmetrical and they are also pave, and I think all the sparkle and bling together looks fabulous.  But hey, everyone will have their own styles and opinions! πŸ™‚

Here’s one without my wedding bands.

Yes it is moissy, a round brilliant 7 mm/ 1.25 carat equiv. center.  I got the center from moissaniteco.com (it’s amora enhanced) and the setting is a C. Gonshor designed ring my fiancee and I picked out together from a local jeweler who agreed to set it with the moissanite.  Thank you both for the nice complements! πŸ™‚ Good luck with picking your ring!

Oh and the pave stones are diamonds, and they are actually a very high rated color, so I do think once in a while when the moissanite is looking a little less white, they seem to make that worse, so if you go with diamond accent stones, I highly recommend getting them in a color that is very similar to the moissanite πŸ™‚ I still completely love my ring though, the moissanite actually sparkles sooo much more than the diamonds do, and when that thing is under a bunch of overhead lights (like in stores, restaraunts, etc.) the whole thing just sparkles like crazy! I can hardly look at it when I am outside in direct sunlight, it is a little blinding.  This is my third ring since I had disasters with the first 2, so third time was definitely the charm!!! πŸ™‚

hey! i ordered from moissaniteco, so i can give you a bit of a timeline.  we got the ring a week and a half after we ordered it! i kept an eye on my order status, and it went into production 1 day after the order was placed, and shipped out 1 week after that. i got the package from fedex 2 days after because i chose the “express saver” that was free and said 2-3 days. it was great!!! the amora moissanite blew me away. i have no words. πŸ™‚

yeah, i was so nervous about sending it in the mail…. i’m still waiting for a confirmation that they got it! i wish i would have taken it to a local jeweler, so i recommend doing that if you need to get yours resized! i really did order the correct size, my ring was a little big though…
