Forever One is C&Cs brand/trademark. And is colorless (D-F). So if you are buying Forever One from MoCo, or Moissanite.com it is C&C Moissanite. Forever Brilliant is also a C&C brand and is near colorless (H-J color). Maybe this helps:

There is other Moissanite, such as the colorless Hearts and Arrows that MoCo sells, that is NOT C&C.  Or Supernova, also not C&C.

helpaguy :  I just saw another post that says C&C is now offering Forever 1 in near colorless. This is new…from like the last week or so. I don’t think MoCo offers that yet, all their F1 is colorless, so that’s why there is no distinction on their website.

helpaguy :  I see what you’re saying and have no idea. I mean, my thought is if it were different, C&C would have rebranded it. I would suggest sending an email to Chris at MoCo and asking him directly. He is very helpful. Unless another Bee can offer some further insight.

I don’t know, but I’d snag the less expensive one. Before you do, however, have you compared the MoCo Hearts & Arrows to the F1? These are made of the same rough material, but have different faceting patterns. A lot of Bees prefer the Heart&Arrows to the F1. The H&A actually tamps down on some of the Brilliance and Sparkle, which makes is look more diamond-like (moissy has a excess of these compared to a diamond).

You can compare them here:

helpaguy :  Great. Mixing moissy and diamonds is not a big deal. You’ll just need to keep the diamonds within 2 colors. So, H&A is D,E,F. Most melee (little diamonds) will be G/H.

Ignore this if you know it, but pave described tight-set diamonds. So, that is the way she wants the shoulders to look. Pave is wonderful, but it is pretty intolerant of re-sizing. So, make sure you are POSITIVE of her ring size. With pave, the band should be no narrower than 1.8 mm.

If the does not want the ring high, you are looking for a low setting (and setting the stone as low as possible in that setting).  The LOW Set is also a catherdral set (see how the shoulders come up higher?). The High Set is a non-cathedral setting (head on top of band). For a lot of structural reasons, I would not recommend a non-cathederal settting like that shown. Too little metal contact between head and band.

When you order the ring, message them first. Specify (1) you want the stone set as low as possible, (2) confirm how to order a H&A, and (3) change all prongs to delicate claw prongs.   I’m going to throw in a 3-stone option. Why? A three-stone can help make a ring feel less tall, because the side stone help cheat the eye — a good trick for gals that like low rings. But, depending on her ring size, you may need to drop the center stone size.

Here are some options. I’m assuming she wants a flush (or flushish) wedding band and not choosing anything with diamonds on the sides (diamonds will eat other diamonds or metal).

One other option, if you buy the moissy from MoCo, you can have it set in almost any setting of the right size. This setting is unique and beautiful and I know she’ll set moissy.

She can make this in any metal. https://thegemstoneproject.com/the-resistance/

Just chiming in – we bought from MoCo and love it! Highly recommend them since the price was great and my custom ring is exactly what we ordered. Good luck!
