    I have a friend with a .75ct Moissy. We compared it against my (basically perfect) stone–And it was more sparkally! I was pretty jealous!

    But smaller stones also show MUCH less color!

    I have a Moissanite that we got through our local jeweler (who got it from Charles and Colvard). It is 1.5 carat and I have about a size 6 finger. I love it. I love diamonds, but I heard about moissanite and was intrigued. Financially, for my fiance, it was the wiser decision. I was also able to go bigger by choosing moissanite. I love diamonds and moissanite so would be happy with either.

    @AloraRachelle:  Mine is MoissaniteCo eng689 in Palladium with a 1.25c Classic/unenhanced Moissanite in size 6.5.  Around $800.

    I am strongly pro-Moissanite and I would never buy a diamond.  There are plenty of people who are the opposite of me.  It really just depends on you.  My main reasons are cost (diamonds are stupidly expensive and moissy is awesome on the budget) and ethical reasons (blood diamonds, etc.).  Almost no one IRL will know the difference unless you tell, and moissy is so sparkly!  I love moissy 🙂

    ETA FB is just more expensive and supposed to be whiter, but my classic Moissy (non-FB) looks very white to me!  I can’t imagine having paid more and liking it any better than I do now!  But if you are very color-sensitive, get FB.

    Here’s mine. She’s a .75, unenhanced Moissanite. My husband paid about $450 including the white gold setting. I don’t notice her looking yellow/green, and I think I”m color sensitive-ish. I took a test once and scored really well, but whose to say how accurate it was :). Good luck!

    I truly love my Moissanite.  I have a size 8.5 finger, this is a 1.4 carat cushion.  I am not really sure how to clean them, but mine does tend to get dirty fast, I am always looking at my ring, only reason I notice spots on it (and only when i’m moving it around in the light, like a crazy person).  I use my soft cloth for my glasses and it comes clean with a quickness.  I am not sure if diamonds get the same way?  The last time I owned a diamoned was 7 years ago and I really don’t remember looking at it as much as I do my Moissanite.  I am very pleased with it.

    Hmm. I’m intrigued. How would moissanite stand up next to a colorless .38 diamond?

    I’m really not wanting to spend that much $ on a wedding band because we spent so much on the engagement ring. But I don’t want to have a stone in my wedding band that looks obviously “off” from the diamond in my e-ring.
