My Boyfriend or Best Friend and I are deciding between using a moissanite or a family diamond (we would have to purchase it from the estate). Well, last night we took the plunge and ordered a 7.00mm (1.25ct) loose Amora from Moissaniteco.com!!!! We ordered just to see the stone in person if we like it, etc. If not we will be returning it.
Question: I AM DYING! lol how long did it take to get to your house? We ordered yesterday it says “ready to ship” we just did the standard free shipping and we live in Michigan…i want it now! LOL

They will probably ship it today, and they are in Las Vegas, so I imagine you will get it by Thursday or Friday?
I am in Canada, and when I have ordered items that were ready to ship (loose stones, etc) they took a day via Fed Ex International Priority (which was incredibly surprising given Customs and even though I am actually a couple hours away from the major centre AND it was brutal weather that day with freezing rain and snow on the highway).
However, their “standard” free shipping in the US is Fed Ex ground, so it may take a bit longer. When I have ordered from them to ship to a US location, and wanted it there quickly, I upgraded to Fed Ex Overnight (cost the same as shipping to Canada, anyway, so not a big deal to me who is used to not getting free shipping very often!). I imagine 1-3 day shipping is quite affordable compared to what I pay to get things delivered here, so it may be worth it if you are very impatient!

Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t have access to change it, that is all up to SO and he is a very patient person! LOL Sounds like they’re pretty quick at getting things shipped out though!

@mmr66: Yes, they are for ready-made and loose stones. Those that require building take a few extra days (but still, I have usually received product quite quickly!).
Post some pictures when it arrives and let us know your thoughts!

The few times I’ve ordered from them, it’s taken two days to receive it from when I got the shipping notice. I’m in RI.

Hi mmr66, we offer two free shipping options: fedex express saver and fedex ground. If express saver was chosen, it will arrive within 2 – 3 business days. If it was purchased over the weekend it would have shipped today 🙂

My ring came from MoissaniteCo. I live in Alabama and I believe it arrived 4 days after it was ordered.

@MoissaniteCo.com: I didn’t know you guys were on here! hahaha

When I ordered a bracelet from moissaniteco (I live Canada), it was 7 business days. I think I ordered it on a Monday, and I had it the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
I hate waiting! I was like a kid before Christmas, the waiting period is the worst!

I ordered mine with the “Express Saver Pack Direct Signature Required.” I can’t say I’ve been exactly thrilled with the amount of time it’s taken so far. I ordered it on Oct 3rd (at night) and even though Moissaniteco and AshaDiamonds had the shipping information the very next day, I still don’t have any stones as of 10/8 at 6:44PM and according to FedEx it is still at their facility, not out for delivery.
When I looked on FedEx’s Website it was pretty confusing as to what the delivery times were and if Saturday counted as a business day since they do have Saturday delivery on certain items.
I figured with 2-3 day delivery as it stated when I ordered the stones it would be at the latest Monday if I wasn’t counting Saturday or Sunday, because I ordered Wed, it shipped out on Thursday and Friday would be the 2nd day and worst case scenerio Monday was the third day. Nope not the case.
When I last spoke with FedEx they said that the day the company shipped the item didn’t count as a shipping day (even though it left the FedEx facility in Las Vegas that day) and that the Express Super Saver Shipping wasn’t a 2-3 day shipping, it was a 3 buisiness day shipping and they didn’t know where they got that it might be 2 days.
When I called FedEx they also said they could hold my package at their facility but that it might take an additional 24 to 48 hours of “processing time” to do so. (what?!)
So, learn from my mistake Bees. 2-3 day shipping means 4 business days once the order has been processed; so spring for the overnight shipping. TRUST me. This is killing me and I won’t be available to accept delivery tomorrow because I’ll be at work. *sigh*
Hopefully it will be at their facility tomorrow and I will post some pictures. It’s been in Oklahoma, where I live, for 3 days now :/

Mine took 13 days (on a ring that was supposed to take 10-14 days just to be made). Shipping took 36 hours. He’d picked the 1-5 day ground shipping, and it came clear across the US. Not bad.
