(Closed) Moissanite testing as a diamond

From my understanding you are correct and it’s a good thing they test as diamonds. I have several moissanites and they test as diamonds and I’m glad they do, it makes me feel more comfortable knowing that it is probably a moissanite and not glass or cz or any other stone for that matter. I bought one of mine off eBay from a private seller and I was so worried as it was about $400, but it tested positive as a diamond so I was relieved. I did take mine to a local jeweler to be tested as I do not have a tester myself.

I have a tester and my sapphires tested as diamonds? I don’t think the ones available on the market are sensitive enough.

I recently took my eBay purchase in to a jeweler.  They tested it and examined it under a microscope for free.  Much easier than all this worry.

The jeweler I went to had a tester that tested moissanites but just as in the video the op posted mine still tested as diamonds. Idk why but they did, maybe the testers just aren’t advanced enough yet. But I was okay with that because at least it wasn’t glass or cz…lol crunchymacaroons :
