    @Mrs081223:  No, b/c then it wouldn’t be a diamond and I wanted a diamond e-ring. πŸ™‚

    Not “just” to have it bigger. I like bigger stones, my fingers are big, and I wouldn’t pay for a big diamond. I like most stones and would buy most stones for their own qualities πŸ™‚ all gemstones have different qualities and I like that.

    I also love CZ because it’s clear, goes with everything, sparkly and affordable for everyday wear! I don’t think of CZ as a diamond substitute though I think it was made as one?

    I have a moissanite because it’s a space stone more than any other πŸ™‚ I considered a blue sapphire, an aquamarine, amethysts…lots of lovely stones I could have Had!

    Right now, I’d take the diamond. I just don’t care for how moissy cuts their stones. Simply personal preference. BUT, once the H&A Amora comes out – ABSOLUTELY. I love the look of a large stone and would totally rock a 2 or 2.5ct amora if it meant I could have a big beautiful stone. No, not a status/financial thing. It’s an aesthetic thing.

    I have a diamond, but I would have gone with moissy no problem.

    My stone is big enough as is, so I’m not looking for bigger but I get the appeal.

    Neither– Personally, I hate the super big rings, I told my husband long before he proposed that I wanted a low profile ring, and he chose perfectly.  I would never want a huge rock on my hand. πŸ™‚

    I think I’m in the “other” catagory. Before I got my moissy I wanted one partially for the size, but mostly for other reasons. Now that I have my moissy, however, I don’t think I would ever choose anything else. Don’t get me wrong, I love all rings. I mean, who doesn’t love sparkle? But, I love the fire of moissy.

    So I guess my answer would be regardless of size I would choose moissy again but, one day I would love to have a diamond, ruby, or sapphire RHR.

    I wanted moissanite, so that’s what I got. I didn’t get it just to have it bigger, though. I preferred a .5 carat, but he wanted a 1 carat, whichever stone we chose. I just liked the appeal of moissanite. (I hate the name of the stone, though; bleh.)

    No. I would prefer the smaller diamond.

    Now when the Amora Gem comes out, that’s a different story! I would totally go AG over diamond for almost every cut.

    I’d take smaller diamond anytime because I’d be proud wearing it.

    I wanted a moissanite because I personally prefer any size moissanite over any size diamond. I like its optics better, and I like that not everyone has one. If I had wanted a diamond, I could and would have asked for the same size as my moissanite. Fiance wanted to go bigger than I did.

    Edit: @StefLovesJamie: why not call it the mineral’s real name, carborundum?

    Ok I know this is a sensitive topic, but I’d rather have whatever type of ring my Fiance was able to purchase for me.  I’m one of those annoying “I’m just happy that this man loves me enough to marry me” chicks.

    Not gonna lie though, I am in love with the real diamond my Fiance picked out.  I’d never even heard of moissy rings until the Bee.
