I’m going to write them a review once I actually get to wear my ring (unofficially engaged currently). I had them make a custom ring for me and exchanged dozens of emails with Chris. He was always super helpful and informative, and I feel like they treated me well as a customer (especially a very particular one). He really advocated for me when it came to making tweaks in the design and acted as a great messenger between me and the designer. He understood exactly what I wanted and was very clear and communicative with me throughout the process. The ordering process was smooth and within a few months I had the ring (only got to try in on once before SO hid it from me, but I took photos and thoroughly inspected it and everything looked just how I had envisioned). I can’t speak to the longevity of the quality until I’ve worn it for a length of time, but I’d say my experience with MoCo has been a positive one and I think in some cases they hit the mark head on, and unfortunately have missed it with others. That can happen with a number of companies, so my suggestion is to be as communicative as you can about your wants. Hope all works out for you, Bee!

Moonrise :  I’ve always gotten great customer service from Chris as well. He helped make sure my Antique cushion was picked with facets to my specifications. I’m also pick and asked tons of questions and I never recieved bad treatment and they answered all my questions fully.

michellelynn9175 :  It may have taken 2yrs but I think you are very clear on your likes and dislikes now and I believe it’s all going to pay off in the long run and you will be in love with your ring. I cant wait til you get it!

I have bought through them I think 4 times, but not very recently. I had them ship my items to AU, so it was a riskier move than if I lived in the US.

All 4 transactions were seamless and no trouble, all items (including two off the sales section) were perfect.

elainebenes123 :  I’d say you’re safer ordering a stock piece, but it never hurts just in case. Especially if you don’t live in the US (I didn’t catch that info either way if you provided it already, sorry)

Glad to hear everyone is having good experiences with them though! Hopefully they’ll turn things around because no one ordering something as important as an engagement ring should have to worry about it being perfect. ❤️

My FH and I had an amazing experience with moissanite co. I randomly found their site when I was trying to figure out what style I want and found my dream ring. I was really worried about it because of all the bad things I read about them on here but I couldn’t find a setting like mine anywhere else and didn’t want to go through the hassle of a custom made ring (I’m impatient lol) so he ordered it, it took about 2 weeks I think to get here. It’s the perfect size, no weird prongs or catching prongs, my ring also has 51 stones in it and not one has budged! That’s was my biggest worry. It’s also heavy and sturdy. I’ve only had it for a couple months but it’s amazing. Here she is.

I had a great experience with them but we got only the stone. We had the setting made by a local jeweler and if that is possible for you that is what I would recommend. I have walked in twice in the year I have had my ring just to get it polished and cleaned. I walk in and they do this in ten minutes. The stone I received was perfect, though! It is just nice to have somewhere local to go for any sizing, polishing, etc. issues.

I recently got my ring from them and the customer service was excellent. I’m in love with the ring.

I have purchased from MoCo about six years ago, and my experience was very good. I ordered a Cartier inspired trilogy e-ring and a channel set eternity, both of which were perfect and I am super detailed focused. The I ordered a pair of Tiffany style six prong round earrings, which are stunning and I still wear most days.

The customer service was great, postage to Australia was very fast and the packaging was nice but not great.

I was overall very pleased with the experience.

redearthlady :   thank you so much! I think so too, a lot of people think it’s a bit much lol. Well, my ring has a matching band. It’s a full eternity with all the stones, milgrain and side details, same thickness, but I’m torn between that or two smaller bands one on top one on bottom with stones and milgrain. I’m glad I have some time to think about it lol.

We had no issues at all with ours, but we only ordered a simple solitaire and a matching wedding band. It was appraised for about 2,700, which was about twice what we paid. I would personally be more wary if choosing one with side stones as previous threads have mentioned them testing as other than what they ordered.
