Wow, that really sucks. I hope you get your ring soon. I can understand why the seller did what they did, but they should have asked you first and made it your decision whether or not to state the actualy value. But, I have heard of UPS or FedEx workers stealing jewelry and making the insurance companies deal with it.

@akirasan:  That’s really shitty. I would ask for a partial refund for your trouble and stress. Not cool!

@akirasan:  Well that’s helpful! They should pay for that at least. Why don’t you mention that you’re a member of the wedding bee, which is how a lot of people find out about moissanite and moissanite co, and see if that makes them more eager to help you. maybe even mention that you started a thread about this situation and you’re hoping you’ll be able to give us all a great update of a happy outcomeWink.

This sounds like a friggin’ nightmare, I am so sorry!

Definitely some objective customer service is in order.

If I were you, I’d call MoissyCo and tell them to stick it.

@akirasan:  I don’t want better service just because they know I post here. They should be providing top-notch service to everybody, not just people who write about them.

That’s how they roll, apparently. I’ve seen it time and time again since I’ve been on weddingbee. As soon as someone starts a thread, the owner comes in and offers to rectify the situation, when it hasn’t been offered before a public complaint was issued. To me, this is very bad business practice. I do hope you get it resolved. Sounds like a nightmare!

@JaneyDcat:  she can’t call, they don’t have a phone number!

@BlondeMissMolly:  Really?  They have no telephone?

Why would anybody do business with them?  They sound 50 shades past shady….

**I’m kind of disappointed, but relieved at the same time to read all the MoissyCo horror stories.  I had my eye on a three-stone ring for my right hand…but after reading about 5-6 of these types of “defective stone” and “Moissyco doesn’t give a rip” stories, I think I’ll just forget about buying from them.

@akirasan:  See, that’s the issue.

I’m sure 98% of MoissyCo’s customers are creaming their shorts daily.  But the 2% who received bum rings or defective products?  Just to get an answer from the company they almost nearly have to take their story public either on here or on the damn Maury show.  And really, I measure how a company manages their damage control as how professional they are.

I’m sure one of their bots will show up in this thread sooner or later.  Maybe they don’t have a phone because they’re feaking Amish or some shit.  Who knows.  It’s all very strange and peculiar.  Hell, I may even buy a piece of jewelry from them, but if they don’t have a phone, then hell, I ain’t gonna risk it.  Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat!

hahaha

**I hope they give you a FULL refund for this slimy runaround crap.  This is really crappy.  If I were you, I’d have alerted the BBB of this hot mess 10 minutes ago.
