I love Moissanite Co, and I follow Fire and Brilliance on Insta. F&B has gorgeous stuff, and their prices seem faily closely matched to Moisanite and Co.  As for quality, my old engagement ring came from Moissanite Co (not a moisasnite stone, just the setting). It still looks perfect. The quality is great, The ring itself feels heavy and quite substantial. So I can only speak tor MoCO on quality. Just to add, my ring does have melee and I’ve had no issues with stones falling out, etc.

We actually dealt with both before deciding on Moissanite Co for my ring. Personally, neither experience was outstanding. I’m sure for their premade designs they’re great. But if you plan on going the custom route, here was my experience with both of them:

For F&B, it took about 3 e-mails before they responded to me. I wanted a ring that F&B had in inventory, but I wanted it customized. I was actually asking to bring the diamond size down from the advertised 10mm to 6.5mm and remove the halo (so less diamonds) and it was only like $200 less than the original ring (WAY too expensive). When I tried to further the conversation about customization and find out pricing for changing the design, they stopped responding. So I moved on to MC.

MC was pretty helpful customizing the design. And we ended up deciding to go with them. Figuring out when the ring was actually going to ship (because they kept changing it) was a little frustrating. In terms of the final project – I love my ring BUT I feel like we got a little ripped off. They were using the F&B ring pics to make the band of my ring. Example – the band I wanted had 38 or 40 diamonds in a “twist” shape. The band I was sent has 48. You’d think, yay more diamonds! But really, they just used much much much smaller stones than what I had wanted and the “prongs” holding the stones basically cover each stone which really diminishes the sparkle of the ring (i.e. it looks a little gray instead of shiny and brilliant). If my Fiance hadn’t already taken off the security “tag” when he proposed, I would have sent it back to have it made the way I wanted it. In hindsight, I sometimes wish I picked one of their premade settings.

I know nothing about F&B, but I have purchased several items from Moissaniteco and they have created 2 seperate rings for me custom.  I’d recommend them any day of the week.

I almost went the custom route with MoissaniteCo and asked a ton of questions about altering one of their rings and potentially changing the basket. They were very helpful and accomodating offering options. I ended up cruising their site and found a pre-made design that worked for me instead though. Great customer service and I really love my ring.

I’ve had a good experiance with F&B so far, they are sometimes a bit slow on replies but they do get back to you and are super helpful. They offer great payment plans also, we paid my ring off over a few months and just did the last few payments today so I’m very excited!
