So – I am new here and this is my first post, and it’s about my MoissaniteCo e-ring as well! I had been stalking these forums for a long time to truly get a good grasp of the MoissCo rings and what they look like outside of stock photos, but I was always disappointed that one of my two favorites was never pictured. My other favorite (that I did not get) was the Winifred ring, and I was able to view another user’s pictures of that one πŸ™‚

I ordered an Antique Filigree Reproduction ring from MoissCo, called the “Delphine” (model no: Delphine). I upgraded to a Forever Brilliant (FB) Old European Cut (OEC) 1 ct moissanite stone, as I wanted the OEC cut but wanted to avoid any potential yellow, since it seems more common in that cut. It is absolutely stunning, and I only see yellow (barely) if viewing from the side or while wearing sunglasses. It truly is WHITE, even while sitting at my desk at work.

Also, I wear a ring size 7.75, and I have very long fingers. Keep that in mind when looking at the 1 ct, since for many women I’m sure it looks bigger on their finger πŸ™‚ I happen to find the size of the stone to be perfect.

The Delphine ring is linked here: http://www.moissaniteco.com/1ct-round-brilliant-moissanite-antique-reproduction-ring-p-11518.html

I have included the stock photos from MoissCo as well as one alternative stock photo listed on BetterThanDiamond:

I have also added 3 additional photos of me wearing the Delphine Ring – the first two are from the proposal day (6/13/15) which was outdoors on a hike (sunny day), and the last is from just now (6/16/15), in my office at work (with office lighting).

Just received my rings today and I couldn’t be happier. I hemmed and hawed for over three months before I finally ordered my 50th birthday present. An upgraded wedding set. My husband was very Leary about not purchasing diamonds and so was I, but I had a $3,400 budget and wasn’t going to get anything impressive at a brick and mortar store or even online in diamonds and I did not want a CZ. My set is Wed552 in a size 8 with a 1 1/2 ct DEW Center stone. The set is 3 1/4 ct DEW. My husband said he had never seen such a sparkly ring and I was able to get the rings and a set of 1 1/2 ct DEW earings and still stay under budget. bump! Let’s add in our MoCo rings here – I will when mine finally arrives. This reference thread is useful for other Bees that are not sure what the rings look like in real life!

I looked all over the site for examples of my ring before it arrived, so I will contribute here too!

Sol393 in palladium, with 1ct (6.5mm) FB stone, size 7. Pretty sure these pics are huge, sorry about that. First pic is with my 2mm palladium wedding band, second pic is from the side, no wedding band:

They have a Facebook page too with a ton of their designs in real life photos! I started clicking “like” and had to stop myself before I liked everything there.

marriedalready69:  wow, that is a lot of ring

How secure is the centre stone? I’m guessing it must be fine but looking at it worries me lol

I posted my e-ring a few pages back, but since we’ve just passed our one-month wedding anniversary I thought I’d come back and update! Sorry for the crappy pic (and the nasty hands, I’m a vet) – the e-ring is sol387 and the wedding ring is eband048b. I was choosing between 3 different styles for the wedding band, and I can definitely say I made the right choice!

Mine is a 1 carat on size 4.25 finger. The MoCo ring style is eng638-F1, Antique Scroll Halo ring. Below is the MoissaniteCo photo from their website then a couple of mine.

Mine is customized with rose gold and double prongs. The stone is a 9×7 (2.2ct) oval FB.

mrstmcd:  Oooh, beautiful! I love oval solitaires. I’m thinking of getting a 1.5ct oval moissanite myself. How do you find the cut and colour of the forever brilliant?

therattlebag:  thanks! I really like the cut of the oval. I find it nice and sparkly! Haha. I will say that I do notice the “moodiness” of the colour. It looks very white under artificial/ fluorescent light, but it definitely takes on a little of colour in natural light. Doesn’t bother me though πŸ™‚

Although this isn’t a great picture of the stone, I think it shows the colour a bit.

steph0h:  I really like your setting! Is it comfy? I would imagine it doesn’t get caught on anything.
