I bought this e-ring from moissaniteco, and the setting is bothering me because it seems bent (like it was set 5 degrees off). Maybe I’m being a perfectionist? I was hoping to get people’s thoughts, and ideas about whether it’s worth taking it in to fix (and how much it would cost?).
I’ve had the ring for 3 months (I hadn’t noticed the issue until now), so it’s too late to send it back to moissaniteco.

Yes, I see what you mean with the lines there, but I don’t think I would have noticed it otherwise. If it will bother you, you should send it back to be fixed. It is a beautiful ring!

Yea thats crooked 🙁 I imagine they would fix it, its not like you could have done anything to make it crooked

It took me a while to see what you meant so it is not very noticable at all. My ring is also off every so slightly which annoys me a bit but I try not to let it get to me because I can’t be bothered. I complained to them (Chris) about how my Forever Brilliant stone was a lot more yellowish/greenish than my Forever Classic that I got from moissanite.com and that I never got the C&C warranty and certificate of authenticity from moissaniteco.com. They never did anything to solve my issues so I wouldn’t bother complaining to them if you are expecting them to resolve anything for you.
If it really bothers you, you could take it to a few jewellers and get some quotes. I would contact moissaniteco.com either way, I just wouldn’t get my hopes up. Hopefully you have more luck than I did with them! Beautiful ring btw!
Here’s how crooked mine is. Not very noticeable either. One side of the cathedral shoulder sits a bit higher and one side is more curved than the other.

I would have never noticed that.

I almost couldn’t see what you were talking about even with the lines there. Now I see it, but it’s more like .1 degree off. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think I am a pedantic type of person, and I will say I don’t think I would have noticed that.
