Wow!  That’s the first time I’ve seen that much damage to a moissanite stone.  Glad to hear MoissaniteCo is replacing the stone for you!

@BlondeMissMolly:  in moissaniteco’s defense. The OP states that she contacted C&C not moissaniteco with her issue. This time I’d say it was on the OP

@luvmesumhim:  if you read back on the first page in her update, she did speak with moissaniteco herself also 🙂

I am not a fan of the company but I would talk to them via e-mail and try to talk it out. LiveChat is always contradicting the e-mails, so there is really no point asking them anything.

I love the 6-prong tulip, it looks gorgeous. I would not be happy with the quality judging by the last close up pic. I would see if they could re-do the whole ring.

The design is gorgeous, I hope you can get the matter resolved soon!

@akirasan:  How would you feel about resetting your diamond into a solitaire and returning the original, more intricate setting? I’m not sure if that would make you more comfortable with the cost of the diamond ring or not. I know you don’t have a specific moissanite vs. diamond preference, but you did say it was important to your Fiance that you have a diamond and this would save him from having to change the stone to a diamond later (and a head made to hold a 1.5 carat equivalent will need a large diamond!). Just throwing the idea out there, no matter your decision I hope everything works out!

Glad to see the company stands behind their product and that the upper management really cares about their customers.

@akirasan:  Aw! That’s weird that they wouldn’t accomodate a setting switch! Sounds like the stone wasn’t exactly what your Fiance wants you to have, anyway (sizewise).

@akirasan:  Is it enhanced?? FB or Amora.. It really shouldn’t be that expensive. I personally decided to go to my local jeweler to order my 1 ct. Round  FB moissanite. It cost me $390.00. I’m so sorry to hear about your ring.. That really sucks!

Sorry that happened to you! I can imagine your disappointment!

I have dealt with Moiss.co four times now.  By choice not because something went wrong.  And I have always had good experiences with them.  There will always be some bad reviews for all companies no matter who they are and what they sell.  Consumers have to try not to be to swayed by the few bad reviews and look at all the good reviews vs. bad.  If there is only a handful of bad vs. a ton of good then chances are they are a good company 🙂  I am very glad they are trying to make this right for you! I think they do care about their customers and their business from my experiences at least 🙂

We got mine from moissanit.com and the ONLY problem I have had is that Helzburge wouldn’t clean my ring because they told me my center stone was loose, but it’s kind of a high setting and sometimes I accidentally ding it on things. It hasn’t chipped yet (knock on wood) and it doesn’t seem loose to me, but I live in raleigh NC and C&C is in morrisville so next time the Fiance comes home we are gonna go get my setting tightened.
