Hi bees! Now that I have learned about this incredible gemstone that moissanite is, I kind of wish I had a moissy engagement ring. 😉 I went with a diamond ring that was priced decently because I didn’t want us to spend ridiculous amounts on a ring. I love my flower design ring!!! I am finding out how gorgeous moissy options are though and have a secret envy for a particular model.
How do you think it compares to my actual set? Please share pics of the same ring if you have it, or share your moissy beauties please! 🙂 It must be noted that I absolutely love a gap in my wedding set 😉

So pretty! I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart honestly.

@KatyElle: Fairly similar right? The advantage with the flower diamond ring is that I get the life-long warranty from my local jewelery store that allows diamonds to be replaced for free if they fall out. The rings can be resized for free, even the eternity band. So all maintenance is free and local.
The moissanite set is from moissaniteco.com so all maintenance would be via mail, and I live in Canada. That complicates things…
Thanks for you comment!

@KatyElle: I second that. They’re both completely beautiful, and extremely similar.
Are you thinking about switching out your original e-ring for the moissanite? I wasn’t sure if thats where you’re going with this.

While I love moissanite, I voted for your current diamond ring because they look so similar and you already have it! If that’s not the case, then I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

@Riley143 and BlondeMissMolly: I secretly fantasized about switching wedding sets for a split second but of course I love my set and am looking forward to wearing the band when I get married this summer 🙂 Thank you for your votes!

Definitely diamond, more benefits plus that’s the one he proposed with! AND its gorgeous!

@Steampunk Angel: Thank you! The thing is that I’m the one who proposed!! hehe. I gave him a white gold band as an e-ring, and then I got to choose mine. He was part of the process though, and he loved the flower ring too. There’s always going to be other beautiful rings out there. I just needed reinforcement from you gals 😉

I have a moissanite so of course I love it. But, I love your current e-ring more than the moisanite one you posted. I love the rows of diamonds. So pretty and unique. I have some ring envy over your ring right now!

Unless you were right on top of your ring you couldnt really tell the diff. I thought your ring was one solid stone till you showed me the stock photo and the super close up

I love the set you already have ! It looks great ! It has so much more meaning too 🙂

I voted for the moissy because it appeals to my visual aesthetics more but I say stick to the diamond since it was what he proposed to you and the two are very similar in appearance anyway
