@ReganLove: They do a guarantee on their website too. I got my moissy from MoissaniteCo in Nov 2011, and have been wearing it since May 12, so not that long. There was once when it was cloudy and I was shocked, then realised it was actually just filthy and needed a clean!!

OP: Moissy can look cloudy if it’s dirty. Dawn+warm water+soft toothbrush solves this. Also, an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. The cleaner I own is sold by Brookstone and doesn’t require any chemical cleaner– just warm water. Cleaned my ring last night and she looks amazing. 🙂 (I’ve only had her for two weeks but I have pretty oily skin, sadly.)

No chips but they are similar to diamond in that as long as you take care of them they shouldn’t chip.

Moissanite’s cloudiness should be covered by the Charles & Colvard warranty.  I believe a stone you get from Moissaniteco is covered by C&C, not by Moissaniteco, which makes sense, since Charles & Colvard’s the one making the stone.  Moissanite shouldn’t cloud, and I’ve never heard of it happening.

Chips are not covered by anyone, as far as I know.  Not even Charles & Colvard.  There was a rather heated thread a while back from a guy who had a stone chip in his FI’s ring.  Moissanite Co charged him a lower price than usual for a replacement stone, but he was upset he had to pay at all.  I think the company gave him a reasonable offer, since the chip wasn’t their fault.  Even diamonds chip, and it just takes one freak accident or bump to make it happen.  Moissanite should not chip easily, but it can happen, just like it can with diamonds.
