@LeeBee88:  It’s probably left over from polishing. I had this happen on my stone too, it kind of looks like an oil slick patch, right?

I got mine clean using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

I don’t see anything that looks like a stain that would be the result of quenching after soldering, so it should come off!

@LeeBee88:  I have a similar splotch on the top of mine, but you can only see it when certain light hits it just right.  Doesn’t bother me at all!

@LeeBee88:  I think it’s from the stuff they use to hold the stone during setting. I had it on mine, silver polish took it right off. Came back once, redid it and alls good now. Enjoy. Your ring is gorgeous.,

@LeeBee88:  the center stone on my three stone had that stain and I just sit here for about 10 minutes scrubbing with a soft bristled brush from a jewelry cleaner and using a mixture of toothpaste and alcohol and it works try that first it does wonders for your ring
