We are a family of thrifters, we love flea markets and thrift shops. Fiance and I are going with the ever popular rustic, burlap, lace, mason jar theme for our wedding. We have been keeping our eyes peeled for mason jars that were reasonable as we will need many of them! Well, my lovely mother and sister found some at the thrift shop, 3 for 95 cents! We were able to get 17 of them for around 6 dollars and change! Two are different than the rest of the Ball widemouth jars, but that is in the spirit of being rustic! On the way home, my mom and sister took a short cut through a nearby shopping center and got some great produce baskets for free left outside next to the dumpster. I think they will be a great accent at the ends of our aisle (we are getting married at a winery!)
I just wanted to share some lovely deals with you ladies! What are some other great deals you have gotten?

I love finding good deals. We have a thrift/second hand barn in my hometown that’s only open during the summer. I have gotten 2 dozen vases there for decor & centerpieces, for 25-50 cents a piece. I also found beautiful, long lace curtains (to accent doorways & a backdrop for our alter) $1 each! Felt like I won the lottery.
Congrats on your good deal. I love that decor!

My centerpieces cost less than $2 each. I used old trash items (pickle jars, cardstock scraps, old salad dressing cups, etc) and an LED tealight.

Each table cost less than $5 for all the decorations.

Those baskets are awesome! They would go well with my wedding cake design! We were planning on doing wine bottle center pieces with flowers in the center from my moms garden. Our favorite Winery in the area gave us 72 of their used wine bottles for free on Sunday! Woo hoo!

Anyway i got a seriously vintage suitcase for our cards for free off a thing here in England called freecycle (sorry if you are from here lol)……and about 50 jamjars towards our 100 goal to use for our homemade lemon and lime bunch for in he church gardens while pictures are being taken before we head to the reception etc we got from a car boot sale (even got a lovely story from the lady about how she used to make homemade jam with her mother and didnt realise she still had all the stuff in her loft!)
