my mom wants to buy my girls gifts too. silly, i know, but shes loves to give people gifts so i have no problem with it.
shes buying them silver compacts and wants to engrave them. what would you want yours to say?

I would probably just do their name. To me, it makes the gift more about them and not so wedding/role in the wedding related

I would just have the first name engraved on them. If it’s a gift it really shouldn’t be wedding related (even though that’s why it is a gift). If you really want to commemorate the wedding I would just put the first name and the wedding date. Hope this helps!

- Wedding: December 2010 - Al Cielo / La Laguna
I would want all three but I voted for name and Maid/Matron of Honor, Bridesmaid or Best Man.

I’m kind of partial to just their name on them. I think that that would be special. :]

Just their name. Or a monogram of their initials. Trust me, they don’t want anything with your wedding date on it =]

Yeah, do just their name, having the date & their “role” on there isn’t something I would really want if I were receiving it 🙂

I agree with putting just their first name. I know that you want to try to tie it to your wedding date, but they’ll most likely always associate it with your wedding even if the date wasn’t on there!

i agree with no date, but my mom doesnt 🙁
