I strongly believe you should have practical reasons for marriage. Love is great, but it comes and goes over the course of a lifetime. If you don’t have reasons other than love sustaining a marriage, it’s not going to work.

Not at all! It takes a lot to make me cry. I thought, “maybe I will cry as I walk down the aisle.” Are you kidding me?! I was grinning like crazy, not nervous at all, and I just wanted to skip down the aisle with my dad right up to my groom. There were no tears of happiness coming from me. I was all smiles. My groom was all smiles. There doesn’t need to be emotional weeping and tears of joy to be completely happy and excited on your special day.

@tallierand:  Ha that is my mother too! She is so worried about Saturday that I had to point blank tell her that the world can end and as long as He and I are married all will be ok. Moms worry about their kids, it just means she loves you.
