Your mom had a spectacular dress to start with.  The alterations just made it look more modern,  but kept it’s original vibe.  You look great!  Congrats

Your tailor did an amazing job, that dress is beautiful! Updated look but without losing the essence of the original dress. Lovely!

I love how you were able to make it your own without destroying the originality of the dress. Stunning!!

I would have loved to have worn my moms dress, but she did not preserve it. It’s still sitting in the back of her closet on a hanger, as it has for the last 38 years. She wants me to cut it up and at least use pieces, but it is so discolored.

My Mom’s dress is very 80’s so I won’t be wearing it for my wedding, but I do plan to do bridal portraits wearing her dress and doing my hair and makeup the same way she did ๐Ÿ™‚

I would’ve rocked those puffy sleeves!

Kidding…lol you look stunning. Incredible what your tailor could do and you had a great vision for the dress! Love it! I wish my mom wore a wedding dress…her and my dad did a small ceremony in their living room. She was wearing a blue pant suit MOM!!! sigh…

Very very nice, you looked awesome!  most of all I bet you made your mother very proud by wanting to and wearing her dress, and thats what counts the most.  You are special daughter.
