Hi Bees!
I’m at my parents house this weekend and raiding my mother’s jewelery box. I just love this set and even though it’s now too tight for her to wear, I cleaned it up with a diamond dazzle stick and we had some fun looking through her stash 🙂
i also included a picture of her new wedding band next to mind, always surprised we have such similar tastes in jewelry.

If you have pics of your parent’s jewelery or heirlooms, please share! I love looking at jewelry with history.

Those rings are lovely, but your incredibly awesome nails are the real stand out here! Are they painted, gel or those stick on things?

partyof2 : love all of those ring!
My mum gave me her wedding set as it was too small. My dad then gave me his ring (again too small to wear) so that the set would all be together. The thin gold band was my gran’s ring.

VioletV : I love that starburst pattern! So beautiful.
This is my dad’s ring – it’s wild. He never wears it anymore but I always get a kick out of it.

VioletV : I have that same diamond cluster ring or something extremely similar that was my grandmother’s.
I was so mad my mom showed me after because I would’ve LOVED to use it as my engagement ring,.

ladyvk : aww do you have a picture?
I love it, it reminds me of a daisy. It does need some TLC but I’m worried it would make it look too different if I had it re-set (prongs aren’t great and can’t just have them re-tipped).

This is an adorable idea! My mom has a LOT of jewelry but these were the ones that stood out most. I love the blue stones on the far left and middle finger rings, and the ring finger one is so flashy and statement-piecey. The index finger ring was actually once mine, and I completely forgot about it so I’m kind of surprised to see she still has it. My mom bought it for me when I was thirteen after an extremely traumatic experience. She calls it my “bravery ring.” Most of my memories of the months after that time are completely gone so it was neat to find this.

Those are all so pretty!
Next weekend, when I am home again I will have to snap some more pics, I love going through her and my grandmother’s jewelry.
Your bravery ring is my fave of the bunch! TheSanguineRose :

partyof2 : Aw, thanks! It’s not as much my style now as when I was 13, but there’s a diamond missing on the band and I’m thinking of getting that replaced and the whole thing cleaned, at least for sentimentality purposes. It IS kind of cute!

This set is my mom’s. I’ve adored it since as far back as I can remember. She’s given it to me so I can wear it at my wedding, and I’m so excited. I have a yellow gold half-eternity band that my late grandmother (my mom’s mom) gave me when I graduated high school that I’m also going to wear that day too.
