MechEBee:  My husband and I had an incredibly productive weekend, we were able to do some landscaping and plant 2 fruit trees (apple and plum) in our yard; and the weather was really cooperative for once lol.  We wanted to get these planted the same year our kids are going to be born, so hopefully when they’re eating solid foods we’ll be able to supply them with fresh, organic fruit from our yard.

The only thing that’s going well for me today, is that I have no work to do so I’m able to spend my time on WB…I’m actually quite miserable at work (new job, only been her a month) but am staying until I find something better.  Until then, I’m more active on the boards than I have been in the last couple years! lol

  • I’m a teacher and it’s summer break. I’m taking the next few days to be truly lazy and do whatever I want to do. This year was hard and I questioned my career a lot, so I’m enjoying surviving it.
  • Darling Husband and I are having a lot of fun as newlyweds (married Dec. 2013)-staying in a cuddling, going out with friends, etc.
  • We’re starting to plan our trip to Greece next June so I’m so excited to have time to research where we should go. πŸ™‚

Wedding related- my dress is 3 weeks ahead of schedule in production, which means I will have some extra time for alterations!

Life related- I’m healing up from an unexpected surgery.

Funny how both things have to do with stitches… but maybe that’s just my twisted sense of humor! πŸ˜€

Let’s see..

My pregnancy is going well, despite my kidney issues. It’s painful but baby is healthy, and that’s all I care about.

I passed my archery course yesterday. Woo!

The weather is awesome here today.

urchin:  Aww–congrats!! And that’s awesome about your archery course. I have always wanted to do something like that–so cool.

For me, I am at the beginning of my summer vacation, and I’m excited about next year as I’m switching to a different school. I’ll miss my kids for sure, but I’m really excited about the new possibilities at this school for me and my program. πŸ™‚

Glad to see so many bees having a great day. πŸ™‚ I didn’t have to work today, so lounging around in my sweats watching Dexter all day was awesome. The offer we put in on a house we love was accepted last week (yay!), so today I called and scheduled the inspection. Doesn’t seem that exciting in theory, but it means that we’re one step closer to having our house, so it’s very exciting to me!

I was having a problem finding a cake baker that fit into my budget, made beautiful cakes, and would do what I was wanting [I don’t want a stacked tiered cake.. I have a cake stand that is separated.. I had 3 cake bakeries tell me they wouldn’t NOT stack the cakes!!]. But I found one, I meet her on the 24th to discuss flavors, fillings, ect.

The wedding is 70% paid off.. we have a little under 5 months to go, so that’s pretty excited!

We were concerned we might not have money left for a honeymoon, but I’m pretty sure we will!

We go suit shopping tomorrow, so hopefully we find a suit for SO!

Hmmm… I think I MAY have decided on shoes

My dr. called and he’s scheduling me an appt with a pain manangement dr so I can FINALLY get a cortisone shot (apparently I have a “really bad bulging disk” which is causing sciatica)

I’m back on my diet today with a vengeance!

We decided on cake flavors and food this weekend

I’m a teacher so I, too, am enjoying some “me time” until I go on my annual cleaning/redecorating rampage πŸ™‚
