I think $50 is absolutely fine. Tell her to give what she can afford

How awkward. A money shower? She should only give what she can afford.

My gift grabby brides have unfortunately been close relatives so as much as I wanted to give them nothing I still put a 50 in their cards.  For people I’m not close to I usually only spend maybe 30.

I have to say though both our grandmothers wrote us spent around $25 on a shower gift and I would say that’s the best similarity to a godmother/senior I can think of.

I voted other because I wouldn’t give money.  I’d find a nice gift (within my budget) I think the couple would like.

I think it must depend on where you live, too.  I would say where I am at, $50 is the average for gifts for a wedding.  $20-$25 in a card for a shower is pretty standard.

    I would probably give $30.

I would give the same ammount I would spend on a gift. Showers I usually give around $30-50.

I voted other because I would not attend a money shower.

I would just give a gift card, so I voted other.

I wouldn’t give money. I’d get a small gift I could afford…..totally out of spite. 🙂 I don’t like “the man” telling me that I need to give money for a bridal shower.

I’ve only been to one shower with gifts so this is pretty common with my community. I would give $50.
