TBH I’m not keen on the sleeve length. They look like they were long and you rolled them up to do the dishes or something, especially in the second picture. Otherwise I think the dress is pretty enough but it doesn’t make me say wow. You have a great figure and I think you could do better.

Im on the fence on this. I love everything except the top. The sleeves and illusion necklace rather too busy for me. The ribbon is quite busy as well.

I love it! It looks great! I would maybe add a different belt to it. It’s very romantic, love!

I love the detail, but I’m not loving the dress. I think the sleeves are the thing that is throwing it off for me – they’re a weird half-sleeve length that seems a little too casual. If they were cap, 3/4, or long it’d be more successful.

It’s a beautiful dress (and I agree with pps, doesn’t need that belt, or any belt in fact) .
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by altering straps to make neckline higher ,as I can’t see any straps on that dress . It needs the illusion shoulders and sleeves tightening and fitting, I can see that , though I’ m not sure that will bring the neckline any higher ?
I think I agree re the sleeve length too, longer or shorter would be better .
I voted to keep looking , unless you really love it and it can pass that clever test a pp suggested about imagining not being able to have it . But I must reiterate that it is a beautiful dress.

elderbee: Thank you! What I meant is just bringing in the seam at the top of the shoulders, because the neckline is a bit low, so it would just get rid of the extra “slack” in the fabric that is shown in the close up frontal photo. I need to look at the dress again without the belt, it didn’t occur to me to try it without. Thanks for your advice!
