I designed ours with the help of my Fiance. But our monogram along with our whole wedding theme/design/decor is very un-tradtional so idk if this would help you or not. Here’s my ie.

Like I said non-traditional.

I do know though a great “font” site that may help you

http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=116&nb_ppp=50

and saw a few posts on here that may help give you some ideas and possibly some “how-they-did-it”

Also, don’t forget the DIY tab on here… not the board threads but the acutal How-to’s =)

Here is the monogram I designed for my wedding:

To be honest, I didn’t do anything super special. I just used photoshop and the text tool. If you are planning on designing your own and I can help, please let me know. I’d be glad to 🙂

@OhsoinLOVE that’s great!

I tried for days to get a more “calligraphy” type monogram but really it just didn’t fit. My Fiance and I are pretty stoked about ours now.. even if it does “fit” tradition. lol

We DIY’d our own monogram as well. We used it to tie together lots of our paper elements. Here’s it in action on our favour boxes.

I do alot of monograms for girls on Wedding By color.  Alot of inspiration comes from what stye and theme. I do them in photoshop and just tend to play around with fonts first then choose a background. I get all my fonts off http://www.dafont.com and most my frames and things from clipart. I decided not really to do a monogram for mine and just stick with colors. Heres a few examples tho.
