This is the ceremony venue we are most likely going with. I know it doesn’t look like much, but it fits the budget and the loction is perfect, just a few miles from the wedding reception venue.
What do you ladies think, is this little chapel capable of being turned into something a little less monotone? The lighting is gorgeous but needs some color, flowers, runner, something to help it out a bit. Before I decide any color details for the wedding I figured I better decide how to not clash with the venue ๐
Do you all have any ideas? I was thinking maybe crimson as the main color? But what to add? What color bridesmaiddresses? Flowers? Ahhhh!

It’s a beautiful space. I actually would try to keep the decor to a minimum. Bring in some greenery to line the aisle, keep to softer colors. I think green and white/ivory would be very pretty in this space.
ETA: Try googling the name of the chapel plus wedding photos. If any photographers have done weddings there before they will have listed the venue on thier blog and you can get some inspiration from past couples who have used the space.

Crimson sounds too stark to me, I think paler colours would be better. I agree with using lots of greenery and maybe pale pink for flowers.

Thank you ๐
The greenery is a good idea, but do you think the actual green color would clash? I think white/ivory flowers with greenery could maybe work. Hung from the pews?
Unfortunately, this venue isn’t used much for weddings and I have only found two photos of previous weddings there (can’t find the second one right now but here is the first):

There isn’t much detail to go on in this image either. I have tried googling for more wedding examples, but maybe my internet sleuth skills need work O_O

sensoda : I like the pink idea too. Would pink bridesmaid dresses clash? I know not many pictures will be taken here, but I don’t want my gals to stick out like a sore thumb.

I think pink bridesmaid dresses would work and then you could have white/ivory flowers as suggested above.

I agree that ivory + greenery accents would be gorgeous. A tip: search for the name of the chapel on Facebook and Instagram – with any lucky there will be a location tag and photos from previous weddings.

I would totally do lots and lots of greenery. The “green” of greenery has become more of a neutral than an actual color when used for weddings recently. I wouldn’t try to make this space colorful as it is gorgeous as is.

I think it’s lovely! I agree that greenery on the pews and at the front would be lovely, with ivory/white accents, then pretty much whatever color you like for the ‘wedding colors.’ Pink or crimson would be fun! Blues or greens (I’m really liking pale green these days!) would be pretty as well. Ivory, tan, or brown as main colors would just fade out in the cream/brown colors already there.

I vote for ivory or pink. I love the idea of lots of greenery.
