cpsp14:  Not a Montana bride, but I am jealous! As a wedding photographer on the East Coast I DROOL everytime I see weddings out that way and their gorgeous backdrops!!! I live/shoot in a resort desitnation area. We host a big wedding expo specifically for our area and it’s HUGE and very well attended. My best advice is to narrow down an area and try to find an expo in that area. Most shows tend to be in Jan/Feb/March as those are our off seasons and we have the time to do bridal shows and expos. Have you narrowed down an area or researched any venues yet?

I got married in Montana (Whitefish) and I’m from Canada. I’d be more than happy to share some vendor info if you’d like. I didn’t go to any bridal shows but went down there a few months ahead of the wedding and met with vendors and did a hair trial, etc. It’s a gorgeous spot for a wedding!

cpsp14:  I’m from Montana and worked in Glacier for 3 summers as well as lived near by for years.  I would love to help you out in anyway.

Hi there! I’m not getting married anytime too soon but I am from Montana (Missoula specifically) and most of my family has been married here. I don’t know of any bridal shows off the top of my head but I’ll look around. I have family all over the western portion of the state so I could definetly ask around if you have any questions about specific venues anywhere on the western side of the state. I also have good relationships with some photographers that are based out of Missoula. <br />Montana is a beautiful place to have a wedding!

Where are you finding the listing for wedding expos? I recently moved to Montana and rarely see any ads for bridal expos. I’m closer to Billings.
