BizzyBeeBuzz15:  I too suggest Nuvaring. The good thing about it, unlike most bc, is that you can start it any time of the month not just right after your period. If you start it in two weeks, your period should miss your wedding by two weeks. Also I have had absolutly no side effects from it, including weight gain. Go talk to your dr! Youre not the only one who will have come to him asking him to move it!

Personally if you have a pretty regular period and you’re not on birth control now, I wouldn’t start just to avoid my period for one day. I hate messing with my hormones, but that’s just me. I would just stock up on super tampons, good pads, or as others have suggested a diva cup. It’s really not the end of the world. I got my period just a couple days before my wedding and it was no big deal.
