My friend and I went to Montreal about 7 years ago. While there we went to a club that we really enjoyed but we were beyond inebriated and neither of us have any clue where it was or what it was called. We basically told the cab driver to take us to a good club and that’s where we ended up.
It was a multi level club in what seemed like an old whereouse or something. The first floor was mainly for dancing and the upper floor had a bar and lounge area. There may have been other floors but I think we only made it to the one upper one. I ask because my friends and I are going back up for a night next month and we may want to go back if it’s still open.
Any Montreal Bees have any idea what I’m talking about? I’m sure it’s a long shot but I just thought I’d ask. 🙂

hmmm What kind of music? Latin, Hip Hop, R&B? St-Catherine is usually the party street and St-Laurent also has some pretty good clubs.

@UpstateCait: sorry, i had to giggle when reading this as you just described the majority of clubs in Montreal! (maybe not the warehouse part). Not to mention that a lot of them close down and new ones open up a lot in their place. If you want something like what you described, try Rouge – on the corner of St.Laurent and Prince Arthur. I am sure there are better ones too, but i don’t live there anymore nor did I go out too much in my last couple of years there other than to places i already knew. But seriously just go along on St.Laurent street and you will find plenty.

@couawilou: If I remember correctly it was more hip hop. Actually, I seem to recall being the only white girls in there at one point. lol
@dynamic_duo: Shows how much I know about Montreal! Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into them.
