@MrsRugbee:  That’s an amazing price for the reception! I was looking at Vieux Port Steakhouse too (online only, ofcourse since I am in Calgary) and wasnt sure of the space itself.

Was it ‘rustic’? Did you guys have to decorate it a lot?

@interleukine:  I love the Toundra! I am not sure however, about finding all the caterers and staff and decor people separately! Was it an issue for you? Did you find one company that offered ‘turn-key services’ that did everything, or did you have a wedding planner?

@sabz3003:  I guess it could pass for upscale rustic. We just brought centerpieces && table numbers the place looked great:

@sabz3003:  i didn’t have a wedding planner. Its a bit more work but also more flexible, You can decide more things to your liking, I would recommend getting a wedding coordinator for the day of. (Mine was ok, but I don’t recommend her)

however, all other suppliers were great, here was my list:

baker: yuki bakery.

Florist: smith bros in st-lambert.

caterer ( and bar service) : le distinction.

dj : uptown expres.

Our wedding ccordinator had chair covers, but you don’t need much decor in that place ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey ladies,

We got married June 23, 2013, in monteal at the Chateau Vaudreuil hotel, and it was BEAUTIFUL! I definetly would recommend that venue to anyone. The property is beautiful and it makes for great pictures! We also had our cocktails and ceremony outside by the water. The staff there was also incredible. I had someone following me around all day asking me what he can do for me; bringing me water, food and anything for the wedding party as well. We had our reception in the Pavillion and it was stunning with all the windows looking over the water. THe dinner was fanastic and the service was too!

oVer all, my husband and I give The Chateau Vaudreuil fuve stars and would recommend it to anyone!

when: end od September

Where: Quebec City

Dress: yes, Aspen

Protests: Seems they didn’t get that promise from the current government. I sympathize with them but not how they went about it. I believe though that the gov should implement a system like Australia
