@MrsRugbee: We have so much in common! I’m probably gonna have my reception at the Vieux-Port Steakhouse as well! Can’t wait to see some pics of your upcoming wedding to see what you do with the place 🙂

And I’m also going through the hell of law school and planning a wedding :/ I already finished my civil law at UdeM and passed the quebec bar, AND did my stage, but decided to go back and do my masters in Common Law. Unfortunately for me, reading these wedding boards is so much more interesting than reading Lord Denning’s ramblings… am I right? 😀

@MrsRugbee:  Hey montreal bride! congratulation for the baby! I see that you had your wedding at the montrealsteak house in the old port. how was it? did you like the service? I’m planning on visiting and maybe do my reception there?

seabeauty7:  I really thought they were great. Since we got married in the offseason they were super flexible with us which was really nice! Overall the food was amazing and the Maitre D was really good. There were a couple of hiccups that I would have changed- Frozen radishes in the salad, 1 cheesecake we had ordered for our sweet table got lost somewhere between the bakery & the restaurent (not sure whose fault) and I wish they had ironed their table cloths since they had fold creases… I hope this helps!!
