I just walked down St-Hubert street & hit every bridal shop on the strip. It’s really the only place to see a LOT of wedding dresses in a short amount of time!

I’m not from Montreal, but I wanted to second the idea of St-Hubert St. I went fabric shopping there and found some wondrous things. Tissus de St-Hubert (I think that’s what it’s called, though I can’t guarantee I spelled it right) was the best one. . . if you have any part of your wedding outfit custom-made, that would be a great place to go for fabric. 🙂

There are also 2 bridal shops on st-Laurent blvd, near beaubien st (Bella di serra and galleria Della Sposa).  Its a little more upscale than st-Hubert. (The second one can make custom gowns).

Also, there is a nice one on Laurier st near st-Laurent blvd. (Anne-jean Michel).

A small store with original pretty dresses is Nathalia exclusif, on beaubien st. (near lanaudiere st. I think)

All within the vicinity of st-Hubert st. ( by car, metro, or taxi). Hope this helps.

I’m from Montreal but got my dress in New Brunswick. I wish I had been able to shop here. That being said, the girl doing my alterations is a wedding dress designer herself:

She is amazing and her dresses are SO nice. Her shop is on the corner of Maguire and St.Laurent above Chez Serge (amazing bar!) She’ll also totally make a custom dress for you and I think her prices start at 2k. Might be a lot but if you see her beautiful organza 2014 dress, you’ll see it’s worth it:

I did hit up all the stores on St. Hubert for boleros but they were stupid expensive. There’s another really beautiful wedding dress salon on St. Laurent up in Little Italy but I can’t remember the name but I think that’s my favourite one in the city. I don’t think there are signs outside and you have to go upstairs and wait in a beautiful lobby.. there was a Montreal bee on here recently who got her dress there. I think maybe Miss Waterfall did, too? Not sure.

@jennyinstereo:  that may be galleria Della sposa. It’s in little Italy and low key store front.
