Montreal is a really beautiful city, too bad you will be going in the winter your first time instead of in nicer weather. Old montreal is wonderful, there are so many little shops and restaurants there to discover and enjoy.

You should check out www.tourismemontreal.org/

It has some excellent resources that will give you lots of ideas of what to do and where to stay while you are there. Montreal is a city with a lot of history and such a diverse population I am sure that you will find lots of interesting things to do while you are there. Have fun 🙂

How long are you in Montreal for? That sort of determines what you will have time to do…

I stayed at the Hyatt the last time I went. It’s not a little hotel but it’s nice & at the time it was affordable. I would probably check what is affordable on Expedia for the dates you plan to be there.

You should see the Notre Dame cathedral and the old part of Montreal that is near by.

Hoping some Montreal bees while chime in with better suggestions for you!
