wrkbrk :  I’m sorry for your loss.  Losing a pet is one of the toughest things to go through.

In my line of work I’ve had to medically declare death and also inform family members that someone has died. It never gets easier, and I do feel a bit awkward about it at times.

Personally I just see it as inevitable and a natural part of the life cycle. Sometimes it makes me sad when I realise how old my parents have gotten and that they won’t be around forever. But the fact that we are mortal makes life so much more rich and fulfilling xo

I actually struggle with this a lot. I am afraid of dying young, among death itself.

My older sister got diagnosed with cancer in her early 20s (she is good and in remission now thank goodness), but ever since then I’ve developed an uncontrollable anxiety surrounding it.

I am scared of getting sick and dying before I start a family, before I see them start a family of their own.

It’s part of my GAD (kinda the main focus of it) and I am a true hypochondriac.

I really should get help, but it’s costly… *virtual hugs needed*
