We finally narrow our names down to two, then I find more that I love!!
Gemma has two middle names because they’re both our mother’s names, and you can’t name your kid after one mom without the other (at least in our case..)
Polls are so fun to me – sooo here are my favorite names 🙂

I was with you on the Adelaide Evangeline name, until I saw Brooklyn Paige! lol Both are pretty but Brooklyn Paige is a little lighter so to speak. You could call her Brooke.

I was the exact same way. I was all about Adelaide Evangeline but Brooklyn Paige is such a good name! I love it!

If I have an Adelaide, I will call her Addie or Adele while she’s little. I have always loved the name Brooke, Brookie etc – so cute! Gemma is short enough to not have a nickname, so far Aaliyah is the only one I don’t have a nickname for…maybe Yaya? It was actually my sister’s nn as a baby.

Adelaide is by far the most beautiful, classic name of them all. I just find the middle name to be way too long with it. It seems like quite a mouthful.
What about Adelaide Gemma?

I picked Brooklyn Paige too but I think Gemma Paige also sounds nice… or Adelaide Paige (although Adelaide it a bit much for me, but pretty). I like one syllable middles.

Have you thought about combining the first names, such as Gemma Brooklyn, Brooklyn Adelaide, Gemma Evangeline, etc? Since those seem to be you favorites from past posts too. Maybe you’ve already thought of all those, if so then I like Adelaide Evangeline best. But that could be because I know a Brooke and a Paige that I really don’t like, lol. They’re all pretty names though.

I don’t like Adelaide Gemma at all… they don’t seem to go together. Funny how we all hear it different!

Adelaide Evangeline is so pretty!

I love Adelaide and Gemma the best, and I like their middle names as well. Good luck! Brooklyn just reminds me of NY (though if you don’t mind that, then go for it).

I like Adelaide Evangeline, and I think Addie is so cute! I love the middle name “Paige” too – It’s my sister’s middle name and she has always loved it.

@miss-spunkin:Love them all except—do not give your baby 2 middle names. It is a HUGE hassle.

I voted for Brooklyn Paige and Gemma… but I meant Gemma without two middle names. Agree with PP – that is SUCH a hassle. Plus, what if she wanted to keep her last name as a middle name one day? Complicated.
Also, the suggestion Brooklyn Adelaide = favorite. I love Evangeline (my BFF/MOH wants to name her daughter that nn Evie) but it’s too much w Adelaide, IMO.

Why do you think it’s such a hassle? Both my brother and sister have two middle names and they both love it. Plus, like I said, one mother would be offended if the other mother was named after (and it’s a squabble between my hubby and I).
So funny, because it seems evenly split between people who love it and thinks it’s beautiful, and those that think it’s two long. We do have a short two-syllable last name with hard sounds if that makes a difference. Also, our last name would never work as a middle name, I would be incredibly surprised! It’s not feminine in the least either.
Actually we like it partially because of NY – my husband is a born and bred New Yorker but moved to the midwest to be with me 🙂

If you’ve always loved the name Brooke, why not just go with that? I tried to name my kids with names that wouldn’t get nicknames, but I see you actually like them.
Seems no matter what you do, people will always try and change them anyway, or you’ll spend lots of time correcting them. That being said, my oldest is Brooke Leigh…:)
