I’m not really sure what you mean by adding it to your ring? You can’t ‘add’ that… it needs to be made like that.

I voted leave it as is. If if anything I would add milgrain to the channel set band…. But that would be it. Have you tried it on with wedding band yet? You can always get a more ornate wedding band.

It’s really up to you if you want to add more details to your ring. If it were my ring I would probably just add some milgrain to the edges of the chanel set band. Have you talked to a jeweler to see if this is even possible and if there would be any risks involving the strength of the ring? They would probably have to rebuild the entire shank, or at least expand it to make room for the design. But i don’t see this being an easy task.

iheartleopardprint:  Agreed. A detail like that cannot simply be added; it needs to be made like that. The band would have to be considerably larger to have the detail on the inside, which would threaten the security of the channel set stones. If you wanted a ring like this, it would have to be remade or reset entirely.

I think the interior ring idea is very pretty, but I also think it would be difficult to just add to a ring, not to mention an additional cost. Maybe you can get a unique wedding band or enhancer to make your set more distinct although I think your current e-ring is fine as is.

    There’s a saying… If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I like the idea of adding milgrain – but your ring sure is beautiful just as it is.

    I wouldn’t touch a thing, it’s gorgeous.
