I wrote an earlier post a week or so ago, but had no pictures of me in the dresses. Well luckily i found an awesome store in Orange County, that not only had ALL my favorite dresses from previous stores, but also let me take photos.
One of my moms favorites from a local store was Maggie’s Rhianna Royale. It was my favorite at that store, but didnt compare at all here. It just had a bit too much going on for me.
Dress 2 is the Watters Victoria. I LOVED this one, but unfortunately wore it after I wore the Alvina, and didnt love it as much. However, looking at the photos now, I wish I would have given it more of a chance. The bridal consultant was a bit negative, she said this one “broke me up”, as in it clearly has a defined top, middle, and bottom.
This one is the Jim Hjelm that I was obsessing over. I seriously still want to cry that it didnt look as good on as I wanted it to…. The detail was seriously beautiful. I just think that if the bodice was a bit longer it could be amazing.
Here is the Paloma Blanca that I loved from the last store. I still think it fit amazing… and loved the fabric. I just wish it had more detail, and belts just werent doing it for me. If I could combine this one and the last one (or put the detail of the last one onto the structure of this dress, it would be exactly was I was looking for!
Here is an Alvina Valenta that I tried on…It reminded me of the Lazaro that I had previously tried. It was a beautiful dress….just doesnt go with an outdoor garden/ vintage wedding.
This last one was my favorite for sure! Its an Alvina Valenta. I was surprised that I hadn’t seen it before! I loved the flowers on the top…and the waist fit perfectly. What do you guys think? I do LOVE it, I just dont want to second guess myself later on, since this dress is at the top of my budget.

My favorite is the first (it’s just SO gorgeous), followed by the last. Dress 2 is probably my third favorite. The others just seem to overwhelm your body. You have a small frame and gorgeous build but it’s lost in the dress.

Just like your experience with the Jim Hjelm dress, I felt like the waist was just a tad too high on one of the dresses I had obsessed with before trying on. It helped me move on from that designer entirely and find a dress I loved.
I think you look stunning in all of those dresses, but the last two are my faves. They’re just beautiful!!!

I agree with milesbella — my favorite on you is the Maggie RR, followed by the last Alvina Valenta. They both look gorgeous on you! =)

So I know you love the Alvina, but I have to disagree with that bridal consultant. I think the Watters looks gorgeous on you. For me, it’s more vintage garden whimsical. I think my second favorite is actually the first one, the one your mom liked. I think that the silouette looks amazing on you. Maybe you could have some of the detail removed? And also, that Jim Hjelm, was there a lot of crinoline underneath? Could you modify the type to make it more fitting and less loose? Because that detail is to DIE for.
All that being said, the Alvina looks lovely on you though, and if you love it, then get it. But…coming from someone who may or may not have bought her dress too early, if you aren’t totally in love, then don’t squeeze your budget to get something you aren’t totally in love with.

I love the Alvina Valenta with the belt the best! It’s gorgeous!

My favorites are also 1 and 5. 1 looks incredible on your body! You can’t go wrong with either. 🙂

I know you said it’s a lot of detail but I absolutely LOVE the first dress on you!

Gorgeous! But I actually think that the Jim Hjelm is gorgeous on you too! Maybe JH just doesn’t look as pretty as you had hoped because it’s way too big on you? I also love the first one! I think for a garden outdoor vintage affair, my favorite would have to be the first one. It’s so romanitc, soft, and garden-y, plus it really highlights your figure! 🙂 Runner up for me would be the last Alvina. And the sweetheart on the Paloma is also really beautiful. But whatever YOU feel most beautiful in should be your dress! Tough decision, you have some beautiful dresses to choose between!

I like the last one the best on you.
I would make the waist band thicker though, looks a bit too thin–not balancing out the top and bottom as well as it should. But an inch or two thicker and it would be perfect. Beautiful dresses!
I’m not a fan of all the junk all over the first one, though the silhouette is nice.

Some of the prettiest dresses I have ever seen in my life. I love n.1 or n.2.
Having to decide, I went for n.2. I love that soft blush at the waist. I also love n.3. Great job shopping!

@_Krystal_: I agree with your Mum, my favourite too is the Rhianne Royale, definetly. You look gorgeous in it. The other ones that have some form of a waistband don’t suit your figure as well for some reason and you do have a great figure. The Royale is so whimsical and you look so stunning. Please let us know which one you picked and let it be the Royale 😉

Most definitely the first dress. It looks amazing on you.
