Hey Ladies, I’ve posted on here before trying to get feedback on my soon to be engagement ring setting. I know I want an emerald cut with halo and split shank, something unique and classy. I’ve found some great pictures of examples I like, just add a halo to the center stone or make it a split shank and any of these would be awesome. Tell me what you think!
POST YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING OR MORE PICTURES TOO! I need inspiration!

I really love the top one, it’s gorgeous and I think pretty timeless as well 🙂

i agree with pp. the top ring is gorgeous and timeless. an emerald cut with trillions or a trapazoid cut (as shown in the picture) is a very classic design.
the last picture is a great combination of a classic setting with the trendy split shank. i love the double prong setting.

OMG The first one made me swoon!! That will never go out of style.

I love step cuts!
I’m not a fan of step-cuts with halos though. The beauty is in the icy, hall of mirrors steps! In My Humble Opinion, the sparkle of the halo right up against the center stone kind of clashes. The split shank one looks beautiful though!

I love the 3rd setting. It is big, but delicate at the same time. I like it as is, but if it had a really delicate halo over each stone it would would be super cute too!

Wow, good taste girl!! I love all the rings you picked haha.. stop giving me ring envy! I esp love love love the 1st and the 3rd ones.. If I had to choose my setting all over again, I’d probably choose something similar to the designs you picked (with either emerald or pear center stones) 😉 But here’s my baby!
And here is what I wouldn’t mind having… to add to your collection 😉

Thank you so much for the feedback ladies!
I love timeless elegance emerald cuts exude but I also favor new and trendy, so the split shank (I think) adds that look as well.
Romantical, your ring is GORGEOUS! It looks absolutely stunning on your finger, like it was made just for you. Congratulations on your beauty!
I can’t wait to start posting of what I actually get! But until then, I’ve narrowed it down to three different styles. I found another setting that seems to have it all but change out the center for an emerald cut.
Cast your votes again! #1, #2 or the new #3?

I have an emerald with a twist shank half pave stone the other half smooth white gold no halo as Mr. Xray didnt want anything to take away fron the center stone, I love it super unique and creative just like him 🙂
