Does anyone have more than 1 wedding band because they like the stacked look? Did it feel silly to have your Fiance put more than 1 ring on your finger during the ceremony?
We bought a trinity wedding band for me, which I love, but I love it more when stacked with an eternity ring. Fiance already thinks it’s funny that my wedding ring is really 3 rings (but they’re all connected so it’s really just 1!!). Is getting another ring excessive?
I could wait for an anniversary, but I’ve never been known for my patience…sigh…

@urbanriceball: I have two bands. One is a simple band made specifically from the same metal mixture (dominant rose gold, with other metals mixed in so its not as pink) as DH’s band. I also have a yellow gold band with diamonds.
We got married on the beach by ourselves so no it wasnt awkward to put more than one ring on. It took a little more time but thats about it. I love my stack, and I cant wait to add to it in future years!

I have three wedding bands. I love the stacked look and mixing metals, so I’ve got the same band in white gold, rose gold, and yellow gold. I only used one during the ceremony, but where all three every day. I don’t think getting another ring would be excessive… but I might be biased 🙂

@urbanriceball: I’d probably just have him put one on during your wedding day and wear the whole stack after as I saw fit.

I am also doing the stacked look but I Think I’m going to have Fiance use one band during the ceremony and put the other one on myself later on in the day. Just for making things a lil easier lol

@jessicadarling: @DanielleI: Yeah I did think about that, but I’d like for both/all rings to be blessed as our wedding rings…

@urbanriceball: I have two wedding bands. Darling Husband had both weddings bands with him at the ceremony but I didn’t put the second one on and adjust my set until after the ceremony when we had a spare moment before photos.

I only had my Darling Husband put one band on my finger during our ceremony, but I have 2 other bands that I like to stack… I just picked the one that I wanted for the ceremony and added the others later.

@urbanriceball: I’m going to have 2 bands. My plan is to wear my one band all day…and then Fiance will put my great grandmothers wedding band and my e-ring on during the ceremony 🙂

@urbanriceball: I have more than one band for the stacked look! I love the options.
I only have one actual wedding ring, a 2.5mm 3/4 eternity band, then my halo engagement ring, both 19k white gold. Then I have my “work ring”. I work in a field where I can only wear solid metal rings, no grooves and no stones. So I picked up a 2mm rose gold band. I wear all three together all the time! Love the mixed metals, and the different textures look so pretty. Also, each ring alone is beautiful. Sometimes I just wear the 2 bands together, and sometimes I wear the eternity band alone and my engagement ring on my right hand.
I will admit, I picked up a work band because it was a great excuse to get another ring and I wanted a little stack. 😀

@urbanriceball: I have 2 bands. I’m having him put both on me during the ceremony. I’ve got a 3/4 eternity amethyst band that I’m worried might not hold up over time because amethysts are softer stones, so I got a dainty diamond eternity too so that in case anything happens to the original band I’ll always have at least 1 ring that I was actually married with.

@ktcs: I’m doing the same thing (mine will be three very thin dainty rings), but my Fiance will put all 3 on me during the ceremony. I like the tri-color look and want to be able to stack or mix & match.

I have two bands (: I don’t think it’s excessive, but some of my friend’s don’t seem to understand. I just brush it off, because I love my rings and think it looks really special with two bands. I’m going to have my Fiance put them both on during the ring exchange so that they’re both ‘blessed’ during the ceremony.

@urbanriceball: By The Way, this is the look I’m going for:
Just the middle band will have purple stones because I <3 purple soooo much.
