We have around a 6 year age gap.  The only person who ever made a rude comment was my dad..a long time ago when we first started dating.  Which..I don’t know why he said anything, it’s the same age difference between him and my mom.  But, I just ignored it.  We love each other and that’s all that matters.

18 years, 10 months and 3 days here. Haveen’t had any negative comments because we’re so well matched – I act and look older, he acts and looks younger, but if we did I’d probably say something along the lines of I like dirty old men. People can be arses, who cares what they think as long as the two of you are happy 🙂

We have almost nine years. My stepmom used to joke about cradle robbing but nothing serious. When we met, I was 23 and he was 31 but I thought he was about 28. He still looks so young – people are honestly shocked when I tell them that he’s 35.

Ours is 11 years 4 months. No one has ever said anything rude since we first started dating almost 7 years ago. A guy friend of mine, who I do believe had a crush on me at the time, had a pretty hard time with it and said some pretty mean things. It was before he met him (and he was a bit of a hypocrite since he was dating younger girls a lot) I just told him he was being an idiot and that he could say whatever he wanted after he met my SO. After they met they became best buddies for quite awhile. If the match is good and the two people are in the same point in their lives I think good people would have a pretty hard time saying anything nasty about an age difference!

Have you had any rude comments? It’s lucky we don’t look our “gaps”! Saves dealing with morons lol

We also don’t look our “gap” at all! We obviously don’t go around telling people our ages, so everyone just assumes Fiance is the same age as me or a tad older, since that is how he looks! (24-25)

We have a 12 year age gap as well 🙂

The only rude thing I can think of was said in a semi-joking way by a male co-worker: “He MUST have money..” As in, he must have money for me to want to marry a 36 year old.

But we don’t mind! He looks young for his age, has never been married, doesn’t have kids, so we’re pretty much in the same stage of life!

10 year gap, and no comments ever! He looks younger though, maybe 29-30 and I’m almost 27. It’s never been an issue for us and I usually forget that some people probably think it’s weird haha.

We are almost 8 years apart.  But he looks younger so we have not received any rude comments, thankfully.  My Fiance is an overgrown kid at heart.

10 years. We haven’t getten any comments from anyone except family, though they’re over it at this point. The worst we’ve gotten from strangers is a raised eyebrow when we’ve both been IDed for drinks at a restaurant.

He’s about 6 years older than me, but it’s never been an issue. I act a little older, he acts a little younger, we meet somewhere in the middle. And we look about the same age.
