Hello bees! Okay so words can’t even dreceive how frustrated I am over trying to find a band for my engagement ring. I have a split band cluster diamond halo style promise ring and heaven for bid I can’t find a band. Well that’s not true, I found one and I hated It. even my fiance thought I was being overly critical but really He suffered nearly 3 Jewelers before he learned I was right 😉 So after our unsuccessful day he suggested a whole new ring, a set that I can keep forever. (I’m not into the whole upgrade ring like most & If i do get a new set the ring he proposed with will be a forever keepsake and hopefully passed down). I want a ring that we started our lives with together. I want it to be one I love !
Ive been eyeballing the morganite rose gold rings. I’ve envied these rings since before I even met my fiancé. I love how unique they are and beautiful of course. There’s a few on rare earth on etsy that I’m dying to have. One in particular that’s within our budget and beautiful but of course I’d love opinions. It says its a 1.8 ct, is that too blingy? I’ve attached the link !
Ive done my research on them

I am one of those people that feel if YOU love it, get it! I mean, you will be the one wearing it all the time. I personally dont think it is over the top in any way. I think it is gorgeous. If it fits your personality and you adore it, then more power to you to get it. Its a beautiful color.

Beautiful! I think you should get it! I imagine a 1.8ct morganite would be similar to a 1.65ct sapphire, so here’s my ring (peach champage sapphire with rose gold). I don’t think it would be too blingy. =)

If you’re not into upgrading, I would seriously consider looking into the peach sapphire. Morganite is a much softer stone whereas sapphire is harder (Mohs 7.5 vs 9) and holds up very well over the long haul. There was a poster a few weeks ago saying how she was disappointed in her morganite ring and how it was all scratched, etc.

Thank you for your help! I figured if I pair it with a diamond band it would be perfect! And that sapphire ring is amazing! So gorgeous!

I LOVE morganite ani it looks so pretty with rose gold.
It could be a smart investment as well since prices are going up because it’s not being mined in Mozambique anymore.

I would totally get it – I, too, have an obsession with morganite and rose gold rings! It’s absolutely gorgeous and not OTT in any way
