dracarys :  I would probably wear it 4-5 times a year. Special occasions only. Never in water. Would it last with this type of wear? I also don’t want anything that will sit in a jewelry box and discolor.

My jeweler told me to wear it in tonight time or when I’m inside because it will fade.  So now I have a 9 ct .morganite in rose gold that never sees the light of day!

missyjz :  When I first got it, I did not take it off to wash my hands, but after I noticed how the look changed when it was wet I started taking it off. The basket on my ring was also closed off and I had no way of cleaning the underside of the stone.

I can’t say whether or not I had a fake stone or if it was low quality. For what I paid I sure hope it wasn’t and I bought from what I’d say is a reputable jeweler. It just ended up not being for me.

This post reads more like you’d like validation for your decision instead of real experiences, so I will bow out now. Good luck to you!

missyjz :  I definitely just want as a pretty ring to wear sometimes. It would not be a wedding / engagement ring. I  might wear it as my right hand ring when we get married.

I wouldn’t recommend for an engagement ring it will not last no matter how much you baby the stone , you will eventually need a new one.. Fortunately they are much more affordable to replace than diamonds so if for some reason your ring did not hold up you can replace it with a new one! Listen to the bees here , no showering , cooking , cleaning with it on it’s best kept safe in it’s jewelery box.

missyjz :  I can assure you my jewler is quite reputable. So I take jewelry info from him.

missyjz :  i love morganite but  hated it as my engagment ring. I had tones of issues with the setting so maybe that was it. But now mu e ring has a diamond center stone and morganite sides.

missyjz :  Oh I wish it was mine! It’s an Etsy listing I was lusting over..I think I will go with moissanite so I don’t worry about damaging it.
