It looks good, but I think the band may not sit flush with the ring, and that would be a preeeetty huge gap.

I don’t like gaps 🙁

I love it! I noticed other people mentioned that there might be a gap, maybe your sister’s boyfriend can just get the engagement ring now and worry about a band later?

Also, if you type in morganite rings on etsy there are some GORGEOUS ones. You may want to check it out. A lot of them are super affordable too.

Beautiful choice! I second Etsy. This set is over budget, but there are other sellers on Etsy you can work with.  Another thing though is I’ve heard that Morganite is not necessarily the best every day ring in terms of wear and tear (not as durable as a harder stone).  So it may need extra TLC 🙂
