Both are beautiful. Since morganite is a softer stone, I would go with a halo for more protection.

Who is making your ring?

I love the setting without the halo—so pretty!

I’d go with a halo for protection like the previous poster said and also because morganite is gonna require a lot of cleaning, so the diamonds in the halo will help maintain an overall sparkly look.

mani_j:  I normally like a halo with morganites, but between these two choices, I actually like the no-halo option much better!

I’m not a huge fan of halos personally, so I say go with the solitare, but honesly, the ring will be beautiful either way

mani_j:  I thought those pics looked looked familiar. They were in the running when I was looking for a morganite e-ring.

please let us know what you think of the quality when you get the ring!
